Drop Soundboard is a local soundboard app with a Messages extension. Build 13 includes 25 bundled CC0 sounds.
Data collection and tracking
Drop Soundboard does not require an account and does not use a developer server or catalog. It has no analytics, advertising, or tracking. The developer does not collect or transmit personal data through the app or extension.
Local sounds and preferences
The bundled catalog stays on the device. Sounds you record or import, trimmed audio output, titles, creator display names, Open or Locked access choices, styles, stars, ordering, and preferences stay locally on the device or in the app's shared App Group container so the app and Messages extension can use them.
Microphone and selected media
The microphone is used only after you choose Record. Files and Photos are accessed through Apple's system pickers, which provide Drop Soundboard only the media you select. When you import audio or video, Drop Soundboard extracts and processes the audio locally on the device.
Messages
Open sounds can be saved by a recipient, subject to that recipient's collection capacity. Locked sounds remain playable in the received message but cannot be saved or resent from Drop Soundboard. Creator credit and the Open or Locked policy travel with a sound as message metadata.
Apple Messages handles message delivery, history, contacts, conversations, and their associated data. Drop Soundboard does not operate a messaging server.
Purchases
Apple StoreKit handles purchase, restore, and payment processing for lifetime Premium access. Drop Soundboard does not operate a developer payment server or receive payment-card details.
Private packs
Private packs and direct .droppack opening are unavailable in Build 13.
Changes
If Drop Soundboard's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy details will be updated before the changed build is released.
